2025 #14 Scholarship Application

All applications should be emailed to krms.fund@gmail.com and be received by April 7, 2025. The recipient of the scholarship will be recognized at their graduation ceremony. Recipients of the scholarship will be given a one-time monetary award once proof of enrollment is provided to the director of the organization. The scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, or books for any postsecondary educational program.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP THE APPLICANT MUST:

1.  Be a high school senior, graduating from a high school in Pointe Coupee Parish.

2. A member of the varsity baseball team who has shown exemplary teamwork and sportsmanship both on

and off the field.

3. Submit their favorite sports quote and a short paragraph (minimum of 50 words), describing why

the quote is special in their athletic and personal life.

4. Attend, participate and/or volunteer at the annual Kyle Ramagos Memorial Softball Tournament and

   provide a brief description of your experience at the event.

5. Applicants must also submit a cover page (with said information to be also

   included in the body of the email) that includes the following information:

Recipients of the scholarship will receive an initial monetary award once proof of enrollment is provided to the director of the organization. The scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, or books for any postsecondary educational program.

This scholarship will be available to 1 graduating senior from each high school in Pointe Coupee Parish who has suffered the unfortunate loss of a parent or a sibling. This includes the loss of a step-parent or step-sibling.

The applicant must include the name and relationship of the deceased family member and submit either a bible verse or quote that relates to the immense loss. Along with the bible verse or quote, please provide a short paragraph (50 word minimum) describing why the verse or quote is meaningful to you and your loss.

If you attended or participated in the annual softball tournament, please provide which year and your thoughts on the experience.
